Leslie Teo-Career Agile Talent Development Professional’s Expertise Leslie is a non-typical, multi-skilled talent development professional with stints as Programme Chair of Singapore’s first and only 3-year full-time healthcare management diploma programme; the first ever Training and Program Manager of Singapore’s largest CET and Adult Education provider; and as L&D partner with Singapore’s only legally approved lottery & gaming company. A highly self-motivated and adaptive individual with strong business acumen developed through a professional journey spanning close to three decades, Leslie honed his suite of highly transferable complementary and adjacent business and life skills from exposure to myriad business functions such Sales and Marketing, Business Development, Account Management, Finance, Quality, Event Management and Service Operations, often with P&L responsibilities. Recognized for his leadership traits, Leslie is invariably entrusted to lead teams and has held various management roles with private enterprises and public sector organizations in the Events, Tourism, Healthcare and Higher/Adult Education sectors. Leslie also possesses a proven track record of applying his multidisciplinary skill sets and intrapreneurial spirit in forging new grounds and achieving several “First” throughout his career. Some of these “First” includes: - co-creating the world's iconic and commercially successful Cable Car Sky Dining in 1998 (https://www.mountfaberleisure.com/restaurant/cable-car-sky-dining/); - influenced the deployment of Singapore’s first web-based managed-healthcare portal, “FlexiClaims” in 2001 used by over 250 GPs and 450 corporations; - spearheaded a partnership with Australia’s Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs (DIMIA) in piloting the highly successful world’s first online visa application portal, ‘E-Visa E-Health’ that incorporates Tele-radiology and Electronic Health Records in 2003 that was deployed globally subsequently. Besides developing his more recent competencies in training delivery and facilitation, curriculum development, instructional design strategies, assessments, and programme administration, Leslie also demonstrated the rare knack of being able to apply his strong business acumen to the various roles he was in, to grow and expand business, market or strategic opportunities, even in areas not typically measured by P&L; such as single-handedly kick-starting a healthcare administration internship programme by building an extensive network of healthcare institutions representing all three key sectors, i.e. Primary, Tertiary and Community Care.
